MY STORY
I know exactly how

A few years ago, my family were living on a building site in Malta. Literally. Dust, tools, bags of cement, I had to step over them just to reach the kitchen. We were exhausted, overwhelmed, and the dream home felt a million miles away.
Then our first daughter was born. And one day, my dad came to visit and cleaned a window. Just one window. Suddenly, sunshine flooded the room and I burst into tears.
“It’s not good, and it never will be. Believe it or not, it’s affecting your mood and your behaviour.”
He was right. And in that moment, holding my newborn baby, I remembered everything I’d trained for: our homes deeply affect how we feel. The layout, the light, the flow — it all matters more than we realise, especially when you’re a mum trying to hold everything together.
That moment changed how I approach every single project. Because I’ve been exactly where you are. And I know what a difference the right design, even one small change, can make to your whole family’s daily life.
